SUMMARY:Frederick Game Jam Showcase
DESCRIPTION:*Open to the Members and the Public*\n\nMeet local developer
s and creatives\, play their games from the recent Global Game Jam\, and
learn what really goes into creating a game at the Frederick Game Jam S
howcase. \n\nAt the end of January 21 members of Frederick Game Developm
ent Meetup gathered at Cowork Frederick to participate in the Global Gam
e Jam\, an international hackathon for game makers. Working under a tigh
 t deadline and assigned theme\, developers\, artists\, musicians\, and w
riters shared skills to create original games in just 48 hours. At the e
nd of the weekend an impressive 7 games were submitted to the Global Gam
e Jam’s website.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for gaming enthusiasts
of all ages to learn about the different aspects of game design\, meet
local talent\, and play a variety of game styles. From cooperative adven
tures to single player fighters to choose-your-own-adventure narratives
there will be something for everyone to enjoy.\n\nBecause of COVID-19\,
this event will occur online. Please register here to get the link: http
