 ome help? Bring it to this “How Do I?” session.\n\nWant to help othe
 rs – or learn as the group discusses business problems? Yep. Come to t
 his “How Do I?”\n\nWhat is a “How Do I?”\n\nA “How Do I?” is
  collaborative workshop designed to help people with business problems b
 y providing a venue to talk through that problem and get suggestions for
  solving it.\n\nWhy come to a How Do I?\n\nWhen facing problems we somet
 imes get stuck in a thought loop chamber and can’t break out. People o
 utside the problem can provide solutions we might not think of. Plus\, g
 roup efforts – especially with diverse groups – simply result in bet
 ter outcomes. Someone who works on their own can find it especially hard
  to get such group interaction – but not if you’re a member of Cowor
 k Frederick.\n\nOh – and – these sessions are a great way to learn w
 hile listening to the discussion. Come listen\, learn\, and contribute. 
 Don’t think you’re enough of an “expert” to contribute? You migh
 t be surprised. Come see.\n\nHow It Works\n\n 	Someone gets 5 minutes to
  describe a business problem.\n 	Then the group has 5 minutes to ask cla
 rifying questions to make sure there’s a clear understanding of the pr
 oblem (this sometimes leads to a redefinition of the problem itself).\n 
 	Once the true business problem is confirmed\, the group has 5 minutes t
 o offer suggestions.\n 	Suggestions are not discussed in the session\; t
 hey are simply received with a “thank you”. This avoids knee-jerk re
 actions to suggestions or getting caught in “analysis paralysis”. Th
 e idea is for the “someone” to take time for the suggestions to sink
  in and to consider how (and if) they should be applied.\n 	We do this o
 nce a month and it’s A-OK to bring a problem back\, with updates on wh
 at has been tried\, to a future session.\n 	Allowing time for greetings\
 , transition\, and possible overruns (that the group OK’s)\, we can ha
 ndle 3 business problems in each one-hour session.\n\nThe 3 Rules of “
 How Do I?”\n\nOutside of our usual Playground Rules\, these three rule
 s apply:\n\n 	Business problems only\n 	What’s said in the room\, stay
 s in the room (like Vegas\, but without the alcohol)\n 	Judgment free zo
