We’re answering the call for much-needed blood, which will be used to help people right here in Frederick. So far, nine people have signed up. There’s room for four more!

Frederick Health has blocked Tuesday, April 7th, for us at their shiny new Blood Donor Center.

See the available appointment times below. It takes about 45 minutes for each donation. They have two stations, so up to 16 people can give blood that day. The plan is to go in groups of 4 or so, to keep each other company while waiting, and let those of us who are a little nervous borrow some courage. Breakfast and deli sandwiches and cookies will be provided. We’ll get your orders beforehand!

They want us to send a list of everyone coming in one batch, so we’re collecting the list of donors and will send it all to Frederick Health.

If you want to donate blood, here’s what we need from you:

1. Confirm you can donate (see below)
2. Reply to the CFF Newsletter email or DM in Slack (members)
3. We’ll contact you with available time slots and further information about donating.
