September 4, 2013 marked our first anniversary and we celebrated with a Birthday Bash.

Cowork Frederick members and friends filled our space with the buzz of good conversation. Member Emory Petermann (AKA EZPuzzle) added music. A slide show told the story of our first year. Guests voted for the charity to receive proceeds from the event. Heartly House won. Savory Spoon Catering provided yummy food at a discounted price so we could donate more of the event’s proceeds (thank you Savory Spoon!) And, of course, there was birthday cake – done coworking style. Julia Ferguson baked and Kimba Green assembled and decorated. (thank you Kimba!) Clean up was “coworked” as well. Aynex and Chad stayed and helped after the party (very appreciated!). It was a great year and we can’t wait to see what the next year brings.
